Ona Rilwan Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos, returned to his palace a Friday, January 1, roughly two months after a horde invaded his palace, took away food items and other things including his staff of office on October 20.
After the Lekki tollgate attack on October 20, Lagos state recorded massive damage to life and properties staged by hooligans. The crises that broke out in the state led to the invasion of the palace. Mean and women could be seen lotting various items and some even went to the extent of swimming in the pool.
The staff of office of the Oba of Lagos was eventually found and returned to the palace.
After ten weeks of absence, the monarch finally returned to his palace.
The senior special assistant to the Lagos governor on health, Oreoluwa Finnih posted a video of the monarch entering his palace.
